Do I need to replace my existing streamer or server?
No. You can retain an existing streamer or server when its digital output works with the DAC and it supports the way you listen.
Is the same Network Renderer configuration available for every MSB DAC?
Compatibility depends on the DAC model and installed modules. Tell us the model and configuration you have or are considering so we can check the appropriate Renderer option.
What should I provide before discussing compatibility?
Provide the current source model, digital outputs, DAC inputs or modules, control software you use and any workflow you want to preserve.
Can I compare a network playback path in a private audition?
You can request a prepared MSB DAC private audition. The exact DAC, input configuration and source path available for the requested date are confirmed before the appointment.

What a Network Renderer does not replace
A renderer receives network audio for playback. It does not automatically replace the storage, library management or server software your setup uses. Before removing an existing device, check where those functions will run and whether your chosen control software and services are supported.

Evaluate usability as well as sound
A reference digital front end must work every day. Consider library access, streaming services, control stability, update policy, input requirements, volume architecture and how easily the system can be supported.
