Using the HT/1003 MKII
Purpose
- HT/1003 MKII is the compact HT option for adding film bass through an AV receiver or processor’s subwoofer output. Its sealed cabinet contains a 10-inch driver. RCA low-level and LFE inputs provide the wired connections; optional HT-Air MKII can carry the audio signal wirelessly.

Check the inputs and outputs against the equipment you already use. If you have a connection question, send us the model names or a photograph of the sockets.
Connecting and setting up
- Connect the AV receiver or processor’s subwoofer output to the RCA LFE input. The RCA output can pass the signal to another subwoofer.
- The cabinet has no physical High Level input. Set the receiver’s crossover, level and delay to suit the main speakers.
Points to consider
- The quoted low-frequency extension is a manufacturer specification. Bass level and decay at your seat also depend on placement and the room.
INSTALLATION
Placement and installation
- Leave room around the cabinet and rear connections, keep ventilation openings clear and the mains plug accessible. Compare bass at the main seats when setting crossover, level and delay. This model is not designed for vertical stacking.

Configuration and included items
HT-Air MKII is an optional wireless system for line-level or LFE audio. It is sold separately, and the subwoofer still needs mains power.

Common questions
Where does it connect to my AV receiver?+
Use the receiver or processor’s subwoofer output with the subwoofer’s RCA LFE input. The cabinet also provides RCA low-level input, but no physical High Level input. If a long signal cable is impractical, HT-Air MKII is an optional wireless route for the line-level or LFE signal.
What does the Australian price for HT/1003 MKII cover?+
$1,599 is the price for one subwoofer, including GST, with a 3-year standard Australian warranty. Any optional accessories and delivery timing will be listed in your quotation. These warranty terms do not limit statutory consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.
