We bring the measurement equipment and assess the left speaker, right speaker and both together at the main listening position. The subwoofer visit adds separate and combined checks for one subwoofer.

With your agreement, we try suitable changes within the visit, then remeasure and listen where practical. We work around the space you live in and explain any trade-offs.
Leave with understanding and a plan.
We discuss the findings with you on site. Your detailed report follows with the evidence, priorities and next steps from your visit.
You do not need to own a measurement microphone or know how to use REW.
What this room’s measurements showed.
In this measured living room, the right speaker had a deep dip near 57 Hz. Around 65 Hz, it strongly influenced the combined response. Near 74 Hz, playing both speakers produced less output than either speaker alone.
Those are different behaviours. Simply adding more bass, changing every setting or replacing the speakers would not tell us which one we were addressing.
The report recommended checking speaker and seat positions, then repeating the measurements after each change.

A few things you may be wondering.
Will the visit make my system sound better?
We look for practical improvements and test suitable changes during the visit. What can be achieved depends on the room, equipment and available options. Some issues can be improved through setup; others need further work. We explain the result and the next step, including when a change has not helped.
Is the detailed report included in both prices?
Yes. Both the $249 and $349 visits include a detailed analysis report. It explains the findings, relevant evidence, tested changes and priorities from your visit. Its content follows the measurements taken.
Will you make adjustments during the visit?
With your agreement, we test practical placement or setup changes that fit the visit and your room. We discuss changes before making them. More extensive installation, repeated tuning or permanent alterations require a separate scope.
Do I need to buy any equipment afterwards?
No. The assessment and report have standalone value. Further equipment is discussed only if it is relevant to the findings and your goals.
Do I need to understand acoustics or use REW?
No. We bring the measurement equipment and explain the findings in everyday language, using your music and the issues you notice as context.
Is it useful if I already use EQ or room correction?
It can be. We review the current setup and measurements to understand what the system is doing in the room. Complete configuration of a room-correction processor is outside the standard visit.
Can you work in a normal living room?
Yes. Tell us what can move and what needs to stay. Practical advice needs to fit everyday use as well as listening priorities.
What if I have two subwoofers or a home theatre?
Contact us with the system details before purchasing a standard visit. These systems need a separate scope so the time and measurements match the work.
How is this different from a free room model or a product demonstration?
A room model uses the information you enter to predict idealised behaviour. A product demonstration explores a particular piece of equipment. This paid visit investigates your existing room and system through in-home measurement, practical tests and a detailed report.
Does this include soundproofing or building-noise assessment?
No. It is a hi-fi listening and room-response service. Building isolation, neighbour noise, construction design and formal acoustic certification need a different scope or specialist.
