Using the HT/1510 Predator
Purpose
- HT/1510 Predator brings a 15-inch driver and 1,000 W amplifier to a home cinema system. Unlike the two smaller HT models, it offers XLR as well as RCA connections, which may suit the outputs on your processor. Its larger cabinet also needs a practical floor position and handling route.

Check the inputs and outputs against the equipment you already use. If you have a connection question, send us the model names or a photograph of the sockets.
Connecting and setting up
- Use RCA or XLR to match the subwoofer output on your AV receiver or processor. The corresponding outputs can pass the signal to another unit.
- The cabinet has no physical High Level input. Set the receiver’s crossover, level and delay to suit the main speakers.
Points to consider
- The quoted low-frequency extension is a manufacturer specification. Bass level and decay at your seat also depend on placement and the room.
INSTALLATION
Placement and installation
- Use two-person or professional handling for the 45.2 kg unit and confirm floor loading and access.
- For vertical stacking, use REL-supplied hardware and follow the official manual. The appropriate quantity needs individual assessment.
- Confirm electrical load, stability, ventilation and anti-tip safety before installation.

Configuration and included items
HT-Air MKII and AirShip II wireless systems are optional and sold separately. Connect the receiver to the appropriate line-level input. Mains power is still required.
