A Digital Director receives audio from your digital sources, processes it and sends it by fibre to a compatible MSB DAC. The DAC still converts it to analogue for your amplifier. Premier, Reference and Select share four input-module slots; their power supplies and chassis sizes differ.

ProISL carries digital audio by fibre to the DAC, while Control Link coordinates operation. These standalone Directors work with compatible Discrete, Premier, Reference and Select configurations. The DAC needs the corresponding modules and firmware; Palisade, Cascade and Sentinel use their own Director systems.
