Horizontal three-way active monitor
ATC SCM45A Pro
Twin 164 mm bass drivers give SCM45A a wider cabinet and more bass output capacity than SCM25A. It is a choice for a larger nearfield setup where a horizontal monitor fits better than a tall midfield cabinet.

Connecting and placing SCM45A Pro
Your source and amplification
- Connect a volume-controlled analogue line output to the balanced XLR input. Each active speaker needs its own signal cable and mains supply. An existing speaker power amplifier does not connect to this input.
Planning the space
- Allow for the wide horizontal cabinet, its support and rear connections. Check that the pair fits the intended listening position.

Questions before you choose

No. This active model has dedicated amplification built in. You still need a suitable source or preamplifier with volume control, signal cables and mains power.
What should I plan before installation?
