Explore ATC Professional speakers in Australia for music and cinema. The same monitor engineering also serves recording and production. Compare your room, listening distance and existing source to find a suitable active or passive system.

What the engineering changes in your system
A dedicated midrange in the three-way models
ATC’s 75 mm soft-dome midrange handles an important part of the vocal and instrumental range. Compare familiar vocals and dense arrangements to decide whether the presentation and the move from a two-way monitor suit you.
Active or passive changes the equipment you need
Active monitors divide the signal before amplification and use dedicated amplifier channels. Passive monitors keep the power amplifier separate. Installation variants may move the active amplifier into a rack, so the cabinet alone is not the whole system.
More bass capacity also asks for more space
Larger woofers and cabinets extend the choice for longer-distance monitoring. Their published limits describe the loudspeaker, not the bass response at your seat. Allow for placement and room integration when comparing sizes.
Find your ATC format
Close listening and compact systems
Choose passive amplification flexibility or a self-powered two-way or three-way format.
A compact two-way monitor for close listening, with a 150 mm CLD bass/mid driver. Keep a separate power amplifier in the system and compare SCM12i if mounting points are needed.
A two-way monitor with ATC’s Super Linear bass/mid driver and S-Spec tweeter. It suits a compact system where you want to choose the power amplifier separately; SCM20ASL incorporates amplification.
SCM20ASL combines the Super Linear bass/mid driver with separate bass and treble amplifiers. Connect a volume-controlled line source directly, keeping a nearfield system compact without a separate speaker power amplifier.
A dedicated 75 mm soft-dome midrange in a compact three-way cabinet makes SCM25A Pro Mk2 a useful step from a two-way nearfield. Compare voices and dense arrangements while retaining a speaker size suited to a desk bridge or stands.
Twin 164 mm bass drivers give SCM45A a wider cabinet and more bass output capacity than SCM25A. It is a choice for a larger nearfield setup where a horizontal monitor fits better than a tall midfield cabinet.
SCM50ASL combines ATC’s 75 mm midrange with a single 234 mm Super Linear bass driver. It introduces the larger three-way format without the cabinet size of SCM100 or SCM150, for a system built around substantial stands.
$32,300per pair
GST IncludedOne pair of speakers and one pair of MSN Audio custom stands. No additional stands are needed.Included custom stands are not shown.
A three-way active speaker for music and cinema systems, with amplification built into each cabinet. The 314 mm Super Linear woofer gives SCM100 more low-frequency extension than SCM50 while retaining a single-woofer three-way layout. Its larger cabinet makes floor space and seated listening height part of the comparison.
$36,900per pair

SCM110 uses two 234 mm Super Linear bass drivers in a broad cabinet. Compare it with the single-woofer SCM100 when the room layout favours a wide monitor and the system needs greater low-frequency capacity.
A 375 mm Super Linear woofer makes SCM150 the largest single-woofer monitor in this freestanding group. Compare its deeper published bass extension than SCM100 with the space available for placement and the listening levels you want.

Twin 314 mm bass drivers and matching external P4 amplification make SCM200 a main-monitor system for a carefully planned large room. Compare the cabinet and installation requirements before choosing it over a stand-mounted midfield monitor.
$59,900per pair
GST IncludedOne pair of speakers with matching P4 amplification included.Pictured supports: please enquire about the supplied configuration.
SCM300 uses twin 375 mm woofers and matching external P4 amplification for large main-monitor installations. Its 925 mm wide cabinet and deeper low-frequency reach distinguish it from SCM200; room construction and listening geometry are central to the choice.
$68,500per pair

SCM12i brings the SCM12 acoustic format to wall and ceiling installation. Its mounting points suit multichannel rooms where a conventional speaker stand would take up useful space.
SCM25Ai moves amplification out of the cabinet and adds reinforced mounting points for wall or ceiling channels. The separate R1-234, R2-234 or R3-234 amplifier options let the amplifier hardware live in a rack.
An active centre speaker for multichannel music and cinema systems, with a reduced-height cabinet designed to sit near a screen. ATC identifies SCM50, SCM100 and SCM110 as partners. When considering SCM150, ask us to check the centre channel’s output capability against your listening levels.
The in-wall centre variant uses a square-edged baffle and an external R1-350 amplifier. It is for a planned flush installation around a screen, with space for the cabinet, rack electronics and connecting cables designed together.
A 147 mm deep passive cabinet for wall or ceiling mounting. Its pivoting mounting system helps aim surround and height channels towards the listening area when floor space is limited.
SSM25i adds a dedicated 75 mm midrange and a larger cabinet to the surface-monitor format. For home cinema or professional systems, compare it with SSM12i when planning wall or ceiling channels.
SCS70 Pro uses one 300 mm bass driver to extend music, cinema or professional systems without replacing the main speakers. Placement, level and phase still need adjustment in the room.
SCS70iW Pro uses one 300 mm bass driver to extend music, cinema or professional systems. Its flush-wall cabinet requires a planned installation and a remote R1-300 amplifier.
SCS120 Pro uses one 375 mm bass driver to extend music, cinema or professional systems without replacing the main speakers. Placement, level and phase still need adjustment in the room.
SCS120iW Pro uses one 375 mm bass driver to extend music, cinema or professional systems. Its flush-wall cabinet requires a planned installation and a remote R1-300 amplifier.
SCS140iW Pro uses two 12-inch SS75-314SC bass drivers to extend music, cinema or professional systems. Its flush-wall cabinet requires a planned installation and two R1-300 amplifiers.
SCS240iW Pro uses two 375 mm bass drivers to extend music, cinema or professional systems. Its flush-wall cabinet requires a planned installation and two R1-300 amplifiers.
P1, P2 and R4-150 drive passive speakers. P4 is supplied only as part of a matching ATC active loudspeaker system. Dedicated installation amplifiers are described with their matching speakers.
P1 Pro delivers 150 W per channel into 8 ohms, with separate amplifier and power-supply sections for its two channels. Choose P1 for a compact passive stereo system; compare P2 when the speaker and listening level call for more output.
P2 Pro delivers 300 W per channel into 8 ohms, with separate amplifier and power-supply sections for its two channels. Compared with P1, it offers twice the rated power for passive speakers that need greater output headroom.
R4-150 Pro gives each of its 4 channels a dedicated amplifier and power supply for passive speakers. Four channels in one rack chassis suit multichannel installations.
P4 Pro is supplied as part of a matching ATC active loudspeaker system for SCM200ASL or SCM300ASL. It is not a general-purpose stereo amplifier; confirm the local system configuration by quotation.
Can professional monitors work for music and cinema?
Yes, when their cabinets, connections and listening arrangements suit the system. Active models need a volume-controlled line output; passive models need a power amplifier. Choose around your listening position and the music or films you enjoy, rather than the professional label alone.
Are these prices for one speaker or a pair?
Confirmed prices show their unit beside the amount. For unpriced models, the quotation will confirm quantity and complete system scope. Each SCM50ASL Pro, SCM100ASL Pro and SCM150ASL Pro package includes one pair of speakers and one pair of MSN Audio custom stands. Local freight for these packages is quoted separately.
Will a larger monitor solve uneven bass?
Not by itself. A larger monitor can offer greater extension and output, but room modes, placement and the listening position still shape the result. Compare the room and current setup before treating size as the answer.
