Connecting and placing SCS70 Pro
Your source and amplification
- Two balanced XLR line inputs accept the monitoring signal, and two balanced XLR link outputs pass it onward. Set level, low-pass frequency, phase and polarity for integration with the main monitors; the internal amplifier also needs mains power.
- Additional system components are specified separately in the quotation.

How do SCS70 and SCS120 compare?
SCS70 uses a 300 mm driver and SCS120 a 375 mm driver. ATC lists 22 Hz and 20 Hz respectively at −6 dB in half-space with the low-pass set to 80 Hz. Compare their cabinet sizes and available space; the room and integration determine the actual result. ATC positions SCS120 for larger rooms and larger monitors. Also compare system connections and intended listening level.
