If the room is holding onto too much low-frequency energy, active absorption such as AVAA C214 may be useful. The right position and quantity still need to be proven in the room.
If bass disappears at the listening position or varies badly around the room, moving the loudspeakers or seat, repositioning a subwoofer, or using multiple subs may be more effective than adding absorption.
If you already use a subwoofer, we can measure the mains, sub and combined response separately and check gain, crossover, phase, delay and placement.
