Serie S
For music, films or a system that serves both, Serie S offers different ways to add a bass foundation. S/550 keeps the cabinet smaller; S/850 uses a larger driver and cabinet. Carbon Special Black Label uses an all-carbon-fibre active driver, while 212 Black Label places two active drivers in one tall cabinet. Each provides separate connection options for stereo music and film playback.

A 12-inch all-carbon-fibre active driver in a piano-black cabinet, with a wood grille included. Compare with S/850 for black or white finishes and an optional wood grille.

Planar
Planar brings bass to spaces where a deep cabinet would be difficult to accommodate. PL-1 and PL-2 can be wall-mounted or used close to a wall with the optional Planar Cart. Included Airship Direct wireless carries the audio signal, reducing the need for a long signal cable; mains power is still required. PL-1 is narrower, while PL-2 has a lower manufacturer-rated bass extension.
REL Planar PL-2
The wider Planar model, with a lower manufacturer-rated bass extension than PL-1. Its shallow cabinet and included wireless audio help with placement and signal-cable routing.

Connection, placement and setup help a subwoofer work with the main loudspeakers. Models with a high-level input can take their signal from the amplifier’s speaker outputs. The appropriate connection depends on the model and amplifier.
