The crossover and amplifiers are designed for the drivers in each cabinet. The signal path is analogue, without DSP, and the built-in amplification removes the need for a separate power amplifier.

Why consider A25-M?
Choose A25-M when you have room for substantial stands and want the deeper bass of PSI’s larger three-way speaker. Its 27.2 kg cabinets need firm support, so allow for the stands as well as the speakers.
Measured individually in Switzerland
PSI Audio builds, measures and calibrates each speaker in Switzerland against its reference response. This sets up the speaker before it leaves the factory; placement and the room shape what you hear at home.
How does it compare?
A25-M reaches 28 Hz at −6 dB, compared with 34 Hz for A23-M. Each cabinet is 40 mm wider, 90 mm taller and 9.2 kg heavier. It is the option to explore when bass extension and output matter more than keeping the speakers compact.

A23-M gives you a smaller, lighter three-way speaker. A25-M uses an EXD midrange and extends further into the bass, with more cabinet to accommodate. A Studio Red pair of A25-M costs A$4,600 more. Compare them at your usual listening distance and volume.

- Connect the left and right variable analogue outputs of your DAC or preamplifier to the speakers’ XLR inputs. A fixed-output DAC needs a preamplifier or volume controller between it and the speakers.
- The XLR input takes a line-level signal. Never connect a power amplifier’s speaker output to it. Start playback at low volume after connecting the system.
- A subwoofer needs a line-level feed that follows the main system volume. Set its level and crossover alongside the main speakers so they blend through the bass.
Where to place it
Each speaker weighs 27.2 kg, so choose stands with suitable load capacity and a stable top plate. The mid/high baffle can be rotated to suit the installation, following PSI’s instructions.

Common questions
Can I keep my current amplifier or source?
Yes, if it provides an analogue output with volume control. A DAC with variable XLR outputs can connect directly; a fixed-output DAC needs a preamplifier. An integrated amplifier with a variable pre-out can also serve as the front end. For RCA outputs, use a cable wired for the PSI input.
Do I also need a subwoofer?
You can start with the main speakers on their own. Add a subwoofer if you want more of the lowest bass in your music or films. Its position, volume and crossover need to work with the main speakers.
What warranty does PSI Audio provide?
PSI Audio provides a five-year warranty, with an extra year when you register your product.
